Our midwestern brethren over at EarthQuaker Devices have just released a new pedal called the Pyramids, and it's one of the most fully loaded stereo flanger effects that we've ever checked out. It features five user-definable presets, eight flanger modes, tap tempo with subdivisions, a multi-function modify control, and even a dry mix control.
The stompbox's modify control changes function based on what mode you're playing in. For example, in Classic mode, the modify control serves as a tone knob for dialing in anything from jet plane swoosh to automatic double-tracking.
In through-zero mode, on the other hand, (which is beloved for its tape-style phase cancellation) the modify control determines where in the LFO cycle the phase cancellation occurs.
