Here for sale we have a Schecter SLS Elite-4 Electric Bass in Black Fade Burst. Made in Korea in 2022, this bass consists of a Swamp Ash body with Sycamore top, a  7-Ply Maple/Walnut/Padauk neck, and a 24 Extra Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover Bass 144 Series Tuners, Schecter Custom Bass bridge, a Thin C neck profile, and a set of Two Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups. These pickups are wired to volume controls with Push/Pull for single coils, 3-way voicing selector switch and active 2-band EQ.

The neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Thin C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 16” radius and Extra jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.

Amplified, the Fishman Fluence Soapbar pickups provide a fantastic fundamental bass tone, with a deep rumbling low end that will fill out any mix. The mid range is warm and adds a distinct character to the tone, whilst the high end frequencies add a nice snappy fast attack. The individual volume controls allow you to blend the neck and bridge pickups in any combination, providing a versatile range of tones suitable for a multitude of musical settings. The 3 switchable voicings give you access to Classic, Funk and Modern tones. Schecter made sure you could cover every tone possibility by adding the Push/Pull pot for a clean single coil sound.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The top edge demonstrates light scuffing to the treble side and the front face binding.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The treble side of the lower bout demonstrates a notable indentation and chipping to the finish that exposes the wood beneath in some areas. Mild scuffing to the wood is apparent at the treble side cutaway.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
