2013 Gibson ES-335 Electric Guitar in excellent condition with a little playwear
on the pickguard
and some very minor marks on the front, back and edges of the
headstock. Beautiful Cherry finish on the maple top, back and sides with creme
binding. The black pickguard
has the gold anniversary logo. The gold hardware and black headstock are adorned
with diamond accents. The guitar is set up with a nice action and the
60's profile neck has a comfortable feel. The neck has a rosewood fretboard with
mother of pearl dot inlays and the anniversary logo at the twelfth
fret. The frets are in excellent condition. The pickups have a great vintage
tone and output. This instrument was made with a quality fit and
finish. It looks, plays and sounds wonderful. Includes the original hand tooled
leather Gibson hard shell case, the case cover, headstock cover and Certificate
of Authenticity.

During 1994, Gibson began offering the electric Centennial series models to celebrate Gibson´s 100-year anniversary (1894 to 1994). There were 12 models in the program - and were released at the rate of one new model per month. No more than 101 instruments of each model were produced. The ES 335 in Cherry was made in June. Each instrument in the series retailed for $10,000. The serial numbers run from #1894 to #1994. The Centennial Series was discontinued in 1999.

Gibson offered some unique concepts with this Collection.
The top hat knobs are solid silver which are gold-plated prior to the setting of
the diamonds. All the diamonds are grated by a certified gemologist prior to
being mounted on the guitars. Each of these appointments are designed to enhance
history making Gibson instruments.
