Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom DCL Humbucker Wound by Lidia Daniel - 1980's 1990's - Black - Not Functioning Open Screw Side Bobbin

Not Functioning Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom DCL wound by Lidia Daniel - double black bobbins, 4 conductor + ground lead wire.

The screw side bobbin of this pickup is open, so it will not work as a humbucker without being repaired. The slug side bobbin works and measures 7.13K ohm. I have tested continuity from the end of the lead wire to each wire inside the pickup, and none are open, so if there is a break, it's either in the pickup wind itself (the copper coil around the bobbin), or possibly at the wire the connects the coil wire to the lead wire (which is common).

I'm not sure the exact age of this pickup, but it has the larger logo with the 3 lines "SEYMOUR DUNCAN PICKUPS" engraved on the baseplate, so should be mid 80's to 90's.

Pole spacing measures around 48mm.

The lead wire is about 8" long.

The black bobbins do have some typical scuffs and scratches on them, but overall they're in good shape.

The pole pieces have some typical corrosion, tarnish and/or rust.

No springs or screws are included.
