The idea of ​​using ash as a veneer is an interesting one.

However, simply using ash alone would not be interesting, so a walnut-colored filler was used in the base treatment to highlight the ductility and add impact.

Still, it feels a bit subdued compared to the more luxurious burl models, but this standard among standards offers a wide range of sound and is a model that doesn't overly assertive.

The neck is a standard three-piece maple, with an ebony fingerboard.

A walnut sound with a solid midrange that's not too flashy.

Even the ebony fretboard tends to be less flashy and more mellow.

The harmonics are also dense and have a pleasant sound.

By coil-tapping, you can change the sound to something reminiscent of a '70s Jazz Bass, but the midrange remains strong without being too cut-out.
