Alembic 2000 Epic 5-String Fretless
Founded in 1969, Alembic have been making sought after high end instruments that generations of players have grown up seeing on TV, film, and historical documentaries. The same company that made basses for John Entwhistle, Jack Casady, and Phil Lesh, bring you this 2000 Epic 5 now.
This bass, curvy, pointy, and ever so modern (for the 1990's) was a modernization of Alembic's image, with many people considering the Epic to be their favorite body shape from the venerable manufacturer. The Epic originally came with 8 choices of wood for the body and top, and this guitar features a gorgeous 9-piece maple neck with walnut stringers, a mahogany body with a padauk top and maple body accents, and matching padauk headstock veneer.
This bass is in great condition, and only has mild corrosion on the hardware.
