There is no major damage, but it is in player's condition with some inconspicuous scratches.
The ST9Pro+ (Super Tube) is a redesigned version of the original ST9, featuring a new circuit.
The midrange boost control reproduces a powerful and heavy sound reminiscent of stacked amplifiers. The drive control allows for a wide range of settings, from booster-like configurations to blues and hard rock tones. Newly incorporated are two pairs of diode clipping and a bass boost circuit, allowing for even stronger distortion and bass boost. The internal operating voltage can be selected between 9V and regulated 18V. The new circuit boosts the voltage to 18V via the internal DC/DC converter only when 18V is selected. When 9V is selected, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate at all, and the unit operates using the voltage supplied directly from the battery or AC adapter. When using batteries, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate, resulting in longer battery life.
