An upright bass fitted with both piezo and magnetic pickups!

NS Design was founded by Ned Steinberger, the innovative instrument designer behind the Spectory NS series and Steinberger. The brand centers on modern, minimalist design, breaking away from traditional shapes in favor of compact, functional forms.

This is a Czech-made model from NS Design's core CR series, fitted with an EMG magnetic pickup in addition to the piezo pickup.

The stand attaches directly to the body for excellent stability, with fully adjustable height and angle, and it stands on its own - a major convenience. The stand detaches and stores in the included soft case for compact transport.

Controls: Volume / Balance (magnetic-piezo blend) / Balance (pizzicato-arco mode) / Treble / Bass. A versatile upright bass that adapts flexibly to a wide range of playing environments and techniques!
