About This Model
The Universal Audio 710 Twin-Finity is a single-channel microphone preamplifier and DI unit built around a genuinely distinctive circuit design: a continuously variable Blend knob lets you mix between a 310V Class-A 12AX7 tube stage and a transimpedance solid-state stage, both phase-aligned, so you can dial anywhere from clean and transparent to harmonically rich tube saturation. Inputs cover XLR mic, XLR line, and a high-impedance 1/4" instrument jack (2.2MΩ) for direct recording of guitars and basses, with over 70 dB of available gain split across separate Input and Output controls for flexible drive shaping. The illuminated VU meter switches between Output and Drive modes — Drive mode displays THD levels, giving you a real-time read on how hard you're pushing the tube stage. Utility switches include +48V phantom power, a -15 dB pad, phase reverse, and a 75 Hz low-cut filter. The unit is housed in a sturdy all-metal 2U half-rack chassis and ships with a 19" rack-mount kit.
A great opportunity to own a Universal Audio Twin-finity 710 at this price point.
