For sale is my Parker Nitefly NFV Built in April 1997This is an excellent early example of the Nitefly, made at the USA factory whilst Ken Parker was there. This guitar comes with a Hiscox Liteflite case, not originally fitted for the Nitefly, but adapted at Hiscox to accommodate it.Specs:Body: MapleNeck: Basswood with carbon/glass epoxy reinforcementFretboard: Carbon/glass fretboard with 22 Stainless steel fretsPickups: 3 Custom wound DiMarzio single coilsBridge: Precision-cast aluminum vibrato bridge with Stainless-steel saddlesScale length: 25.5”Tuners: Sperzel lockingColour: Transparent red with white pick guardThis guitar does not have any piezo functionality. The saddles are piezo loaded, but at some point in the guitars life, the piezo circuit has been removed. (See photos)In really good condition for its age, below is a list of imperfections, as I’d like the new owner to be as informed as possible. I have tried to photograph them clearly, but some were difficult to capture. Most look worse in the photos than in real life.When I bought this guitar a few months ago, the plastic vibrato bar sleeve was cracked in half and stuck in the bridge. I managed to remove it and have replaced it with a 3D printed versionThe grub screw which adjusts the vibrato bar tension is extremely stiff. I have removed it and lubricated it, but it’s still stiff.The step stop which adjusts if the vibrato is floating or not won’t move. It may be that I don’t have the right size tool to access it. Currently the bridge is set to fully bend down, with a little up pull.The body shows fine, light superficial scratches in the finish, on the back and front, but can only be seen in certain lightThere are some small indents in the finish, but no cracking, again only visible in certain lightThe back of the neck has some very minor marks, which you cannot feel whilst playingBridge saddles are a little tarnished, as are the pickup pole piecesThe neck has a small indent on the bass side of the 2nd fretThe Sperzel tuners are showing some tarnishing, but this could possibly be cleanedLocated in Redhill, Surrey for collection.Shipping will be fully insured with Parcelforce £70
