A modified Ibanez RGRT421 Standard in Weathered Black. Starting from the stock RGRT421, I've upgraded the electronics and pickups and set it up for down-tuned playing. It's a fast neck-through shredder now voiced with a Gibson humbucker set.Key Upgrades & Modifications:Pickups: Upgraded to a matching set of Gibson '70s Tribute Humbuckers (Rhythm in the neck, Lead in the bridge) for rich vintage-modded tone.Electronics: Upgraded full-size Fender 3-way blade switch and upgraded input jack for reliable gigging stability.Nut & Setup: Nut slots carefully widened to comfortably handle heavier string gauges. Currently set up in D Standard (D-A-F-C-G-D) with Ernie Ball Burly Slinkys (.011–.052).SpecificationsGeneralModel: Ibanez RGRT421 StandardFinish: Weathered Black (WK)Body: Okoume WingsNeck Construction: Neck-Through 5-piece Maple/WalnutNeck Profile: Wizard IIIFretboard: Jatoba with White Dot InlaysFrets: 24 JumboBridge: Ibanez F106 Hardtail (10.5mm string spacing)Hardware: BlackNeck DimensionsScale Length: 25.5" (648mm)Width at Nut: 43mmWidth at 24th Fret: 58mmThickness at 1st Fret: 19mmThickness at 12th Fret: 21mmFretboard Radius: 15.75" (400mmR)Electronics & Control LayoutNeck Pickup: Gibson '70s Tribute Rhythm HumbuckerBridge Pickup: Gibson '70s Tribute Lead HumbuckerSwitching: Upgraded Fender 3-Way Blade SwitchPosition 1: Bridge PickupPosition 2: Bridge + Neck PickupsPosition 3: Neck PickupThe guitar is in great playing condition with low action and solid tuning stability in D Standard.
