For sale: my Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul R8 Historic 1958 Reissue Flametop Triburst (2002) in excellent condition.This is a 2002 Historic Reissue, a period that many players appreciate from the Custom Shop, as these guitars were already very well built and are often known for their great tone and resonance.The guitar features a beautiful flame top in Triburst finish, with a very lively figure that changes a lot depending on the light. It’s one of those tops that immediately catches your eye — the look of an R9 but at a more accessible price.The guitar is in excellent condition, with very minimal signs of use.The frets are at about 95%, and the hardware is almost like new. On the back of the body and neck there is some light natural aniline dye fading, which is quite common on these Historic models.It weighs 3.8 kg (measured on my home scale).The guitar resonates beautifully even unplugged and feels very alive and responsive when playing.It comes with the original Gibson hard case (one latch does not close properly, shown in the photos), COA and original factory papers.As always, I’m happy to show the guitar over a video call before purchase so you can see everything clearly and feel completely comfortable before making a decision.Shipping at buyer’s expense or local pickup in Barcelona.No trades please, sale only as I’m reorganizing my gear.Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
