His famous Budokan Les Paul became iconic not only for its striking three-pickup layout, but also for its unique wiring: only the bridge DiMarzio PAF is active, while the middle and neck pickups remain intentionally disconnected. This instrument recreates that detail with absolute precision. The ’70s-style sandwich body construction, three-piece maple top and three-piece mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard provide the lively attack, sustain and clarity typical of that era.
