About this listing
A Working Bass with Nothing Left to Prove.
This 1991 Fender Precision Bass proudly carries the scars, upgrades and character of a bass that has seen real-world use and plenty of action.
The P-Bass remains the benchmark by which all others are judged, delivering the punch, warmth and unmistakable low-end authority that has anchored countless recordings and live performances. This example has been thoughtfully upgraded with both a Wilkinson pickup and a bridge featuring brass saddles, offering dependable performance and a strong, articulate voice.
The bass is in used condition, with medium fret wear and evidence of a previous refret. Some marring to the rosewood fingerboard can be seen from that work but it remains a solid and playable instrument. A few small dings and scuffs are present around the body, entirely consistent with a bass of this age, while the screws and control knobs have been replaced with gold hardware for a distinctive look.
A genuine player’s instrument with over three decades of history behind it, this Precision Bass is ready to keep laying down the groove for years to come.
