About this listing

Selling this beast, original Fender Super Reverb, Blackface, American voltage (electrical transformer included). Presumably from 1965. I didn't play it as much as I wanted, it's too powerful for my necessities. I included a video of a track I recorded in studio with this amp and a Gibson 335.

Overview

The Fender Super Reverb 45-watt tube combo guitar amplifier was offered in a Black Panel finish between 1964 and 1967, although some early Silverface finished units still had Black Panel circuitry. Well-known for its scooped mids, the Super Reverb features the same design as the Fender Super, but with the addition of built-in reverb and tremolo effects as well as four 10" speakers. Famous Super Reverb players include Johnny Marr, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, and Derek Trucks.
