Aria Pro II PE 180 with hard shell case in excellent condition comes from 1978 in Lawsuit era when Japanese luthiers were demonstrating that they could produce copies of Gibson models to the same standard. The Aria Pro II PE-180 was made at the legendary Matsumoku factory in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan This model is rare, but has been re-discovered by jazz guitarists everywhere as it's known to be as good as the Ibanez 2460 L5 copy and much sought after. The fretboard is ebony with the so-called split-block pearly inlay markings that you only find on the Gibson Super 400 (the Ibanez 2460 have block markings) Classic jazz tone. This guitar is sold with a good quality hard shell case.
