Ernie Ball's first John Petrucci signature model, the JP6, was released back in 2001. Since then, nine more guitars have been released under Petrucci's name, leading to this, the Monarchy Majesty.
Petrucci sees the development of his Monarchy series as reflecting the evolution of his band, Dream Theater. With each album, the band learns more about what works and what doesn't in the same way that Ernie Ball and Petrucci learn with each guitar released in the Monarchy series.
The Majesty is the next step in that evolution, featuring a flamed maple top, a mahogany through–neck, chrome or black hardware, a custom John Petrucci Music Man Piezo floating tremolo bridge, and Schaller locking tuners. You can pick the Majesty up in four translucent finishes: Royal Red, Imperial Blue, Black Knight, or Majestic Purple.
