JPTR FX Releases the New Add Violence Super Fuzz | NAMM 2020

With just a few days to spare before NAMM kicks off in Anaheim, German effects brand JPTR FX has released its first brand-new pedal of 2020: the Add Violence.

Dubbed by the brand as a "super fuzz," the Add Violence is the brand's take on a Univox classic and features hand-selected Russian NOS germanium diodes from the '70s, powerful transistors, and auxiliary controls like an upper octave control, a 16dB boost, and a clean blend.

It comes equipped volume, gain, and tone controls, the latter of which "produces a very wide sweep - from complete mid scoop to full mid hump." For players of low-end instruments—like bass guitars, drum machines, or synths—this pedal can especially shine, bringing everything from clean distortion to all out fuzzy tone.
