Boutique heavyweights Beetronics are making a bid to bring their high-fidelity pedals to the masses with a new, affordable line that's kicking off with an overdrive.
Dubbed the Babee Series, this new run of pedals is reported to reduce both the size and price of better-known Beetronics effects while retaining build quality. The first entry in the series, the Fatbee Overdrive, is a collaboration between Beetronics and Howard Davis, designer of effect icons like the big box EHX Deluxe Memory Man and Deluxe Electric Mistress.

The first pedal on our Babee Series is a fully original overdrive circuit designed in collaboration with the legendary pedal designer Howard Davis. A JFET drive like no other, breaks up sweet and smooth like a tube amp. The Fatbee can be used to warm up, sting or buzz any instrument you want! The FatBee comes a sleek red enclosure with three top-facing knobs for Weight, Flavor, and Honey.
