Sontronics SONORA Preamp -  SONORA is a dual-channel preamp/DI with two discrete solid-state channels and a dedicated power supply for the lowest noise floor. These are one of the most underated mic pres on the planet, the outboard power supply makes the headroom bigger and quiter than mic pres costing 3 times the price, and these things will kill any emulation of 70s style 1073mic pres, they are very low noise and have a wonderfull smoooooooth round top end, i can match the volume of 1073 style mic pres costing £1000 with half the volume, really its crazy concidering the price for 2 channals. The only reson im letting it go is i just got a DW Fearn, Hazelrigg. I used to chose this on vocals over some very expensive Neve style pre;s.

Both channels are identical, each with a 12-step 'click' level control which makes a simple task of matching levels in stereo applications. Each channel has its own 75Hz high-pass filter, -20dB attenuation and +48 Volt phantom power switches, plus independent Signal & Clip LEDs.

The electronically-balanced inputs will match seamlessly with your favourite mics, guitars and synths while the electronically-balanced outputs ensure that your signal is delivered to your recording or PA system with perfect integrity.

SONORA's small footprint makes it a perfect solution not just for studio recording but also as a portable interface in live performance and recording applications outside the studio.
