T-Rex Tremster, from my personal collection and in excellent, like-new condition. A hand-built analog tremolo from T-Rex Engineering in Denmark, voiced to nail that warm, buttery vintage tube-amp tremolo sound.
Unlike many tremolos, the Tremster uses a light-dependent resistor (LDR) circuit for a deep, organic pulse that melts into your playing rather than chopping over it — you can dial in heavy depth without it sounding like your tone is hyperventilating. The Mode switch moves between a fuller sine-style voicing and a softer, squarer feel, and the Volume control sits at unity around noon with up to +3 dB of boost (and extra bite) towards the top. A flashing LED tracks the speed so you can lock it to the song.
