Real Spring Reverb
Really cool mid 80s everything amp. Very flat tone making it amazing for pedals and punchy, think the solid state Peavey’s of the era. Great for QOTSA style tones and just really aggressive. Pairs well with larger Marshall Cabinets. Spring reverb is fun to play with in particular and you can get some crazy noises out of it via jumping the channels together.
Was taken a part and cleaned a few years ago but occasionally has a bit of a crackle that goes away after running for a few minutes. Plenty of nicks and dings but honestly looks well for an old entry level PA head of the era.
Overall, really cool and quite strange amp that hasn’t been seeing much use recently that would go well with a heavier project.
