Shepherd Lindfield – Handmade UK Microtonal Bass – Semi-Hollow – One-Off

The Lindfield is a one-off microtonal bass for players who want to explore beyond the standard 12-note fretboard. Its semi-hollow construction adds warmth and resonance, while the custom fret layout opens up entirely new melodic and harmonic possibilities. Built by hand in Sussex, it's an instrument designed to inspire rather than imitate.

BODY - 3 piece Korina (White Limba) Core hollowed out either side of the centre. Beli Top with 3 circle sound holes, Beli Back with Complimentary Korina (White Limba) control cavity cover

NECK - 3 piece Korina (White Limba) with Wenge laminate and scalloped head stock, with Wenge fret board, 2 sizes of dot inlays made of Ash and Korina (White Limba). 34in scale length. 12in radius. Bone Nut.

HARDWARE - Black Guyker hardtail bridge with brass saddles. Black Guyker 2 a side machine heads.

PICKUPS - Single Wilkinson M Series P Bass

FRETS - 40 Nickel/Silver - "microtonal" from 1st through to 17th frets

ELECTRONICS - 250k CTS volume and tone pots with 0.047 capacitor and Switchcraft output jack.

CUSTOM KNOBS - made with complementary Black Limba and Wenge.

Will come in a hard foam case (gear4music)
