Vintage UK Orange OR 2x12 “Lead” Cabinet – Early 1980s – Made in England
Original vintage Orange Amplification OR 2x12 “Lead” cabinet, likely dating from around 1981–1984.
Features original “Voice of the World” rear plate marked:
- OR 2/12 Lead
- 120 watts (not 150)
- Made in England
Loaded with a pair of later Celestion Vintage 30 speakers (8Ω speakers wired for 16Ω mono operation - not original speakers- 120w). Sounds huge, punchy and very classic British voiced.
Cabinet is structurally solid and in good vintage condition for its age, with expected cosmetic wear/marks from use over 40+ years.
Original recessed handles, corner protectors and vintage Orange covering. Closed-back design with the oversized old-school Orange cab sound — much fuller and deeper sounding than many modern 2x12s.
