The Ibanez JEM7VP Steve Vai Electric Guitar is from the Ibanez Premium Series, offering classic Vai appointments including the Monkey Grip, DiMarzio pickups, a super fast Wizard neck and more!

Classic RG Body Shape with Monkey Grip

The guitar features an alder body finished in a classic white complete with the Vai Monkey Grip - one of the most recognizable features on the JEM guitars.

Super Fast Wizard Neck

At the heart of the JEM7VP is the Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck. Reinforced with KTS TITANIUM rods, this neck is designed to withstand the rigours of touring while maintaining a slim, fast profile - essential for high speed, modern playing styles. The ebony fretboard provides a tight low-end and crisp high-response, adorned with the iconic 'Tree of Life' vine inlay. Thanks to the Premium Fret Edge Treatment, every slide and bend feels effortless across all 24 jumbo frets

Trio of DiMarzio Pickups

The JEM7VP comes equipped with Steve Vaiâs signature DiMarzio Evolution pickups in a Humbucker/Single-coil/Humbucker configuration, offering  a massive tonal palette. From the screaming, overdriven leads of the bridge humbucker to the chimey, glass-like textures of the middle single-coil, this guitar is built to cut through any mix with clarity and power! The pickups are wired though master volume and tone controls and a 5-way pickup selector switch.

Premium Hardware and Control

The guitar features the Edge Tremolo and the 'Lion's Claw' cavity. This system allows for radical pitch bends - both up and down - while ensuring the guitar returns to perfect pitch every time. Gotoh machine heads also features alongside a locking nut, all decked out in gold! The guitar comes complete with a gig bag.
