Mint condition, home use only and in full working order. This is a wonderful boutique hand built clone of the famous EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger made famous by the likes of David Gilmour and Andy Summers. This flanger captures those iconic flanger tones without all of the issues of the original such as volume drop; it sounds warm and clear with fantastic shimmer.

Controls are simple as per the original: feedback controls how much of that lovely shimmer you want on your sound, rate affects the rate of the modulation or how quickly the sound swirls, and range adjusts the width of the sweep or how big the swirl is. The video is a great demo actually if you are unsure.

The toggle switch takes the effect to either flanger mode or matrix mode, where matrix mode has no sweep, the rate control is bypassed, and you have just the feedback and range to play with to create a non-sweeping sound. This is particularly useful for zeroing in on a sound you like before then trying it with the rate/sweep in flanger mode.

Runs from a 9 or 12 volt power supply with a bit more headroom on 12 volts, which I preferred, and on/off is via the usual stompbox-style footswitch. The bright blue LED pulses in time with the sweep rate.

I have really enjoyed this pedal, which produces everything from lovely light shimmer on your tone to Dr Who style alien-like sounds and everything in between. Buy with confidence and have fun!
