Kala KASSEBYB Solid Spruce Striped Ebony Baritone Ukulele

When you first pick up the Kala KASSEBYB Solid Spruce Top Striped Ebony Baritone Ukulele, the immediate impression is one of quiet confidence.

It is a visually striking instrument, but the design choices here are as much about acoustic performance as they are about the aesthetic. As a baritone, it naturally occupies a deeper, more resonant sonic space than its smaller siblings, and the combination of tonewoods used by Kala ensure every note carries weight without losing definition.

The solid spruce top offers a crispness and clarity that remains consistent when playing, whether you're digging into a heavy strumming pattern or lightly plucking a melody.

Visually, the instrument is tied together with mahogany binding that frames the ebony back and sides beautifully. The herringbone rosette and purfling add a touch of traditional class without making the ukulele feel like a museum piece.

Because it uses a standard baritone scale, it feels familiar in the hands, and the satin finish ensures the neck stays fast and comfortable during longer sessions.

It is also worth noting that this model is built to standard baritone dimensions, so finding a home for it is easy as it fits into all standard Kala baritone bags and cases
