This is a modified bass, originally purchased from Southside Music in Glasgow a couple of years ago where it was kept as a family heirloom.I made it fretless, it has an amazingly rich and deep sound akin to an upright :) This required removing the bridge pickup, filling in the fingerboard and lowering the actual bridge system as can be seen in the photos.The only issue with it is electronics, as I simply grounded the pickup to the bridge; this produces a little noise but nothing a quick trip to a guitar shop/ solder can’t fix.Overall, a supremely lovely vintage instrument that I wouldn’t get rid of otherwise, but it it simply doesn’t get played enough and is in need of a loving home:)Comes with a sturdy TGI gig bag, strap and stand.
