Fourays is a 12 voice polyphonic USB MIDI chiptune oscillator eurorack module.
I designed and built these myself after becoming mildly obsessed with the capabilities of the vintage AY-3-8910 programmable sound generator chips.
Each module contains 4 vintage AY-3-8910/YM2149F chips. Each chip has 3 oscillators, a noise generator and an envelope generator. The module configures these features to respond to MIDI notes and CC controllers.
Also provided are 12 combo gate/clock outputs, which can be configured to match any of the 12 voices or a division of your MIDI real time clock.
The module configuration can be saved and loaded using the front panel, by MIDI program change messages or by SysEx dump and restore.
This module is 22HP and requires a 16-pin euro power cable (not supplied).
