Spendor SA300 + SA400 5.1 Monitor Set

This is my beloved Spendor 5.1 monitoring system which I have owned from new. The units are in excellent condition, having always been stored and transported in their original packing boxes.

The speakers themselves sound absolutely fantastic - deep bass response, no hint of harshness in the high-mid frequencies, crisp top end, super powerful output and some of the most accurate imaging you'll hear on any system anywhere. I've used them to mix countless film scores and album projects over the years and they have never failed to deliver with their detail and power, from the most delicate string tremolando to the punchiest of grancassa hits. This sale also includes a set of 5 custom-made Atacama stands. These are fully professional speaker stands, manufactured in the UK using high quality steel; the column bodies are half filled with dry sand and then packed with Rockwool, so they are extremely heavy, well balanced and free from resonance. The base plates can be fitted with adjustable steel spikes for added acoustic isolation if required. The stands are 105cms tall (without spikes), designed to position the speakers just above most professional console meter bridges. The base plates are 30cms square and the top plates are 22.5cms square.

Due to the sheer bulk of all this equipment I am not keen to get involved with shipping it, so personal collection from west London would be much preferred. I would also be prepared to consider delivering everything myself to local areas west of London, subject to an additional fee.
