About This Listing

The Burns Bison was the most expensive and best guitar made by Burns London back in the early 60's. Apparently only 10 left handed Model 2 Burns Bison were ever made. As far as I can tell, aside from one replacement machinehead, this one is 100% original.

It features a lot of cool settings such as the Split-sound and Wild Dog. It also has one of the most expensive and stable tremolo systems ever built. The variety of settings makes it an extremely versatile guitar.

There are some blemishes though, the most serious being a repaired breakage around the input jack, and another small patch. However, these have been professionally reinforced & fixed so they won't recur. Please examine the photos, I've tried to highlight some of the dings.

OFFERS.  A lot of lefty guitars are really rare, bordering on unique, the value is highly subjective and so pricing is pretty difficult.  I am also no expert on guitar values.  For these reasons I am happy to accept offers.  However, if you want to pay less than the asking price you will have to negotiate, and that requires that you open up a line of communication with me.  Offers without messages are likely to be ignored or declined.

DELIVERIES.  We use a logistics firm to our deliveries to most parts of mainland Britain.  Be aware that each delivery is individually scheduled in with you based on various schedule runs across country.  The delivery fee may be higher and the arrival date may be later than with a regular courier but then again your item will not be lost or damaged, nor will yards of bubble wrap & cardboard be consumed.
