The Seymour Duncan SJB-2B Hot Jazz Bass Bridge Pickup is a hot rodded version of the classic Jazz Bass single coil pickup with increased warmth and growl.

For this pickup Seymour Duncan used the classic jazz tone foundation and added some punch, the pickup is voiced a little lower than a traditional jazz with a hotter output and fuller low end, giving you boom without too much top end sizzle. The hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and custom coil wind deliver a warmer, fatter Jazz Bass tone with a lower midrange growl. The more aggressive attack from these pickups make them great for all things rock. With Forbon flatwork and wax potted for squeal free operation, these pickups are a drop in replacement for any Fender American Standard size Jazz Bass bridge pickup route.
