The Blackstar Debut 50R is a traditional, simple to use, 2-channel guitar amp. This 50 watt, 1x12" combo is perfect for live performance and ideal as a pedal platform amp.

The concept of the Debut 50R is simple. It is an all-analogue amp, that steers clear of digital modelling, giving players an amp that is less fussy and more focused on tone and usability, rather than having all the bells and whistles that some players don't want or require.

The amp features 2 switchable channels; Clean and Overdrive, a 3-band EQ section, Blackstar patented ISF filter and a 2-selectable reverbs - Plate and Hall.

Blackstar's design team have chosen to use a discrete MOSFET preamp to allow the Debut 50R to deliver an amp with the natural sounding response of a valve amp, get warm cleans to valve-esque overdrive characteristics.

Other features include an effects loop, 50w down to 5w power reduction (for great tone at low volumes), speaker emulated line out, and a Line in for jamming along or to listen to your favourite music.
