Vintage Akai SS-100 Speakers, 1960s Alnico 2 Way Speakers, 10" Woofer, Efficient, Made in Japan

Pair of very early Akai SS-100 speakers, Alnico 10" woofers and Alnico 2.5" Horn speaker, 10 watts. Nice pair of earliest Akai speakers that were often sold with vintage Akai reel to reel decks. They can be used as very efficient home speakers and be easily driven by small tube amps. They have a 1/4" input connection and can be buckled together for transport, with a handle.  They are in good original working condition with some usual staining and discoloration. They have a few small nicks and scuffs and the handle has been repaired, nothing serious at all. I do not smell any smoke on these speakers. They sound very good, open, detailed, clear and very efficient. When buckled together they measure 20x20x16. They have the incomparable vintage Akai design, attention to detail, craftsmanship, parts quality and sound quality that only vintage components can offer. Please see pics.
