USED Mosrite 1969 Combo Electric Guitar with Hard Case

USED Mosrite Combo Electric Guitar 1969 all original.... Here is a very good condition USA 1969 Mosrite Combo model guitar that has essentially been "under the bed" for the past couple decades in its original case. All original with a lightly checked lacquer finish and classic Mosrite styling. In our estimation -- and serial number stamped on the last fret -- this guitar was made in the last year of the Combo production run before a series of financial setbacks  and factory moves beset the company until it's demise in the early 1990's. The Combo is very similar to the better known Ventures signature guitar, and differs mostly in the construction of the vibrato bridge.

If you know this guitar, you are likely already steeped in its history, but suffice to say that more people have seen a picture of a Mosrite than one in the flesh. Semie Moseley at one time worked at Rickenbacker, which explains the overall look of the guitar, the German curve body, and its thin profile 22-fret neck. Overall build quality and finish is very good, everything still functions as it should, and in their day Mosrite guitars were never inexpensive instruments. Fret wear is negligible, the P-90-ish pickups have a burly tone and a strong output (Note the reverse cant of neck pickup for better treble response). The 2-piece bound maple neck with rosewood fretboard is straight and true.

This guitar does not need anything other than a good home. It's a great collector's item, or if you are looking for the sound and looks of a Mosrite for your next musical adventure....you've found it. It's a 52-year old guitar, and for that reason all sales are final.
