Vintage Lyle Acoustic Guitar Martin Copy MIJ Japanese Gibson Lawsuit Harmony Kay

For sale is a Vintage Lyle Acoustic Guitar. It is a copy of a Martin guitar with their patented X bracing. Please be aware that this instrument will require repair from a luthier. It has cracks in the wood on the top, sides, and back. I am unsure whether the cracks are in the finish or into the wood itself. It could also use a neck reset and some work on the bridge, which is rising. The seam at the base of the guitar will also need to be re-glued as it is starting to pull away from the top. I can send a separate photo of that as it is not uploaded to this listing.

I have additional photos available for anyone who would like to see more. I am at the max of 12 photos for this auction. This guitar has an extremely bright tone and has excellent craftsmanship that is superior to many other similar models from this era. HOWEVER, it does need significant work, which is why it is listed lower than many other Lyle Martin copies. In its current condition, it can’t do much beyond playing chords. Play beyond the third fret is not correct and has intonation issues due to the number of repairs that are needed. Please contact me with any questions or concerns!
