The Stagg EDB electric upright bass is a great option for an electric bassist looking to make the leap to an upright bass or for the double bass player wanting a portable option.
Featuring a solid maple body with a 3/4 scale, the Stagg EDB makes for a more compact and easier to play instrument - great for the electric bassist making the transition to upright bass and of course aiding portability.
Amplifying the Stagg EDB couldn't be simpler, just plug the instrument cable into the 1/4" jack output on the body and feed it into a amplifier or D.I. The tone produced is natural and woody, thanks to the state-of-the-art onboard electronics.
Stagg have also added two mini jack sockets to the body. One lets you plug in a set of headphones (for silent practise) whilst the other is a input for CD/MP3 players - great for jamming along to your favourite tracks.
