A very rare 1960's Made in Japan Stella Style Acoustic Guitar.

These guitars were made in Japan to look like the  Harmony Stella Guitars. They were very good copies...A lot of USA and Japanese manufacuturers capitalized on the popularity of the Stella Guitars. It has a Model Number of G-101. See pic 10. It also has a Steel Reinforced Neck sticker on the headstock. See pic 5...

This guitar is all original. It needed a good cleaning and new light gauge strings which we did. No cracks and only minor dings from there. The guitar was not played a lot as evidenced by the lack of wear on the fretboard. The frets look like they are unused. See pics.

This cool little guitar plays great. Great action at the top 5 frets and only 1/8 inch of clearance at the 12th fret for both the high and low E string. No sore fingers with this one. This would be a great guitar for someone just starting out. It would be great for a young student.

Apprears to be birch like the Stellas and check out that tailpiece. Looks just like the Stella. Original Pickguard, bridge, nut and tuners. This is a really cool inexpensive 1960's Guitar that sounds great and plays even better.
