Summary:
Very clean mid-60s Mosrite in super rare factory black finish. A transitional model built when the Ventures endorsement was approaching its end this example retains the V serial number. Other period features include Pat No. Moseley Vibrato (which replaced the Vibramute,) hat style M stamped knobs, truss rod adjustment at the headstock, and Mosrite of California embossed pickup covers. In excellent condition and all original this is a fine example of a rare beast! With it's slim profile bound Maple neck with Rosewood board, German carve top and some seriously cool west coast styling these boutique guitars were more expensive than Strats at the time. A seriously cool guitar!
All original with Period correct hard shell case.
Excellent overall condition with only two small dings to the top and very minor hairline surface scratches. A fine example!
