Unlike the "Classic" models which feature a horseshoe-shaped chamber, the engraved "JAZZ" version features a perfectly round inner chamber. It offers an immensely poetic sound: extremely centered, dark, velvety, and woody, without any harsh metallic edge. The ultimate mouthpiece for subtones and intimate, cool jazz.
Specs & Condition:
• Tip Opening C☆☆: An absolute rarity in the catalog (special factory order sitting right between a C* and a D, approx. .075 - .078 inch). Ideal for easy blowing, maximum lip comfort, and flawless intonation control (perfect for getting back into playing).

Condition: Very good overall condition. The original silver plating looks beautiful, the black bite plate is clean, and the table and rails have never been touched.

Complete Original Packaging: Sold with its original silver-plated inverted-screw ligature, matching silver cap, and its original 90s display box (red cardboard base and clear plastic lid with the black Selmer logo).

Vends une pièce de collection rare et recherchée : un authentique bec en métal argenté Henri Selmer Paris, modèle "JAZZ" en ouverture C☆☆ (C double étoile) pour saxophone ténor. Fabrication française des années 1990.
Contrairement aux modèles "Classic" (chambre en fer à cheval), la version gravée "JAZZ" possède une chambre interne parfaitement ronde. Elle offre un son d'une immense poésie : extrêmement centré, mat, velouté et boisé, sans aucune agressivité métallique. C'est le bec idéal pour le jazz feutré ou intimiste.
Caractéristiques & État :
◦ Ouverture C☆☆ : Une rareté absolue au catalogue (commande spéciale de l'époque se situant entre le C* et le D, soit environ .075 - .078 pouce). Idéal pour une émission facile, un confort absolu sous les lèvres et un contrôle parfait du son en douceur (parfait pour une reprise de l'instrument).

État : Très bon état général. Le plaquage argent d'origine est superbe, la pastille noire de protection des dents est saine, la table et les rails n'ont jamais été retouchés.
