Flight Iris Tinta Tenor Ukulele - Transparent Black

The Flight Iris Tinta Tenor Ukulele combines a solid spruce soundboard with laminated mahogany back and sides to deliver a rich, resonant acoustic voice with excellent projection. Purpose-built for players who prefer a slightly larger instrument, the tenor scale provides extended fret access, comfortable finger spacing, and a deeper acoustic resonance. Featuring an integrated Double C1U active pickup system with discrete soundhole-mounted controls, this tenor ukulele is equally at home in the recording studio or plugged straight into a stage amplifier.

All-solid Mahogany Body

The foundation of the Iris Tinta Tenor Uke's sound is its all-solid mahogany body, which provides  a warm, balanced, and resonant sound that is perfect for a wide range of playing styles. Unlike laminated tops, a solid body opens up over time, offering enhanced resonance and character as the wood matures.

Tenor Scale and Slotted Headstock Design

The tenor body size offers a larger acoustic chamber and a longer 17" (43.2 cm) scale length, giving string notes increased tension, sustain, and clarity. The wider fret spacing along the fingerboard makes navigating complex chords and lead lines far easier for larger hands. At the top of the neck, a traditional slotted headstock fitted with smooth open-gear derailleur tuners ensures precise tuning stability while lending a refined, classic aesthetic to the instrument.

Okoume Neck with Bone Nut and Saddle

The okoume neck features a smooth playing profile capped with a durable laurel fingerboard, ensuring a comfortable playing experience up to the 18th fret. A real bone nut and compensated bone saddle facilitate maximum string energy transfer directly into the body, improving overall sustain and providing accurate intonation across every fretted note.

Includes Gigbag

Complete with an 18mm padded gig bag for secure transport to rehearsals and performances, the Flight Iris Tinta Tenor Ukulele earns its place as a versatile, gig-ready instrument for serious players and stage performers alike.
