Suhr Benjamin Madden Signature Modern T - Trans Brown #94659

The Suhr Benjamin Madden Signature Modern T in Trans Brown is a distinctive interpretation of the classic T-style guitar, combining timeless simplicity with refined modern performance. Built around a two-piece White Limba body, the instrument features carefully sculpted arm, hand, and tummy contours for a comfortable playing experience, all finished in a rich Trans Brown gloss. Gold appointments throughout add a sophisticated contrast, from the Electrosocket input jack and control plate to the strap buttons and Suhr two-post bridge with bent steel saddles and steel block. A Parchment Modern T pickguard completes the understated yet elegant aesthetic.

The neck is crafted from 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple, paired with a matching 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple fingerboard and finished in satin for a smooth, effortless feel. Its Modern Elliptical profile measures .800" to .850", offering a comfortable shape that balances familiarity with modern playability. The 11" to 16" compound radius with standard roll supports fluid movement across the fingerboard, while 24 stainless steel jumbo frets provide durability and a powerful, articulate response. Black face dots mark the fingerboard, complemented by 2.5mm green Luminlay ring side dots that provide clear visibility on darker stages. The original headstock features a quilt maple top in gloss, a Mother of Pearl inlay logo, Benjamin Madden signature engraving, and gold Suhr locking tuning gears. A 1.687" white Tusq nut completes the setup.

At the heart of the instrument is a matched pair of cream S90 pickups, with dedicated neck and bridge positions delivering a broad range of expressive tones. A three-way blade selector in Parchment provides quick access to the pickup combinations, while straightforward Volume and Tone controls keep the interface intuitive and immediate. The guitar is also equipped with Suhr's optional SSCII Active system, adding an additional layer of tonal control and noise management. Gold control knobs and hardware carry the visual theme across the instrument, while the standard black satin tremolo cavity cover provides a subtle contrast beneath the guitar.

Strung in E Standard tuning with .010 to .046 gauge strings, the Benjamin Madden Signature Modern T is designed as a versatile instrument with the character, responsiveness, and precision expected from a high-end Suhr. Its combination of White Limba warmth, roasted Birdseye Maple stability and feel, stainless steel jumbo frets, S90 pickups, and carefully selected gold appointments gives it a voice and appearance that are equally distinctive. Weighing 8 lbs 15 oz and supplied with a Deluxe Softshell Case, this Modern T brings together classic inspiration, contemporary craftsmanship, and Benjamin Madden's unmistakable signature aesthetic in a guitar built to perform with confidence.
