The Novation Impulse 49 is a USB bus-powered MIDI controller keyboard offering 49 full-size, semi-weighted keys with assignable aftertouch - a step up from the synth-action feel found on many controllers in this class. It pairs the keyboard with 8 velocity- and pressure-sensitive multi-colour backlit drum pads, 9 sliders, and 8 endless rotary encoders, giving producers and performers comprehensive hands-on control over their DAW and plugins. Connectivity covers USB 2.0 for data and power, 5-pin DIN MIDI In and Out for hardware integration, plus 1/4" jacks for sustain and expression pedals. Automap 4 software enables instant mapping to popular DAWs, and a built-in arpeggiator with tap tempo adds performance flexibility. Ableton Live Lite is included as bundled software.
