KRK Systems was created in 1986, the product of founder Keith Klawitter's frustration with the lack of clear, accurate monitors on the market. This prompted him to build his own, which soon caught the attention of sound engineers and producers, spurring on the brand to become what it is today: a producer of fine studio monitors and headphones that can be found in studios everywhere—Moog even uses them in their showroom.
