Eko began constructing unique electric and acoustic guitars in Italy in the 1960s, but that's only part of the story. The company produced Vox guitars during the same time, including popular models like the Mark III and the Vox Phantom. Their most popular guitar, the Eko Ranger, was a smash hit with country and folk bands of the late '60s, and their funky 700 series brought something entirely new to the table with a triple-cutaway design.
