Overview
Wunder Audio's CM7 FET, designed in part by Brad Avenson of Avenson Audio in Texas, is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone patterned closely after the Neumann U 47 FET.
When compared to the U 47 FET, the CM7 FET's internal amplifier employs newer FETs, transformer, and surrounding circuitry, omits the attenuation and filter switching on the base, and the original Neumann microphone's built-in mount has been substituted for a separate shockmount.
