The Warwick RockBass Alien Standard is a versatile 4-string acoustic bass that impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship, selected materials, and warm, natural sound. Its 32" medium scale offers comfortable playability that suits both beginners and advanced bassists alike. The solid spruce top ensures clear response and a balanced tone, featuring precise highs and a rich low-end foundation. Laminated agathis back and sides enhance projection and provide structural stability. The set-neck mahogany neck guarantees optimal vibration transfer and contributes significantly to the full, resonant sound. This is complemented by a high-quality wenge fingerboard featuring 24 extra-high jumbo frets made from a durable titanium-brass alloy, ensuring a comfortable playing feel and precise intonation. Green fluorescent Luminlay side dots ("glow-in-the-dark") charge in the light; their afterglow makes it easy to find the correct hand position, even on dark stages. Equipped with a Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and the proven Fishman Sonitone electronics, the natural acoustic sound can be reliably amplified. Intuitive volume and tone controls allow for quick and effective sound adjustments. High-quality hardware - including Warwick machine heads, a wenge bridge with slotted bridge pins, and chrome components - ensures tuning stability and durability. Practical features like Warwick S-Security Locks provide added safety when playing while standing. Visually, the bass impresses with its elegant Natural Transparent Satin finish. Weighing approximately 2.9 kg, it feels comfortable to hold and play, even during extended sessions. Included in the package are a matching gig bag from the RockBass Starline Premium Line (WRB BAG ALIEN), a truss rod tool, a Warwick microfiber cleaning cloth, a Warwick fret protector, and Warwick S-Security Locks.Warwick RockBass Alien Standard model32" scale4-string acoustic bassset neck constructionsolid Spruce toplaminated Agathis back and sidesMahogany neckWenge fingerboardtwo-way steel trussrod20," radiusJust-A-Nut III Tedur nuttwo-way steel trussrodnut width 38.5 mm24 extra high jumbo titanium-brass alloy frets (Width: 2.9 mm / Height: 1.3 mm)rounded fret ends with IFT (Invisible Fretwork Technology)green fluorescent Luminlay side dotsFishman Sonicore piezo pickupFishman Sonitone preampcontrols for Volume/ToneWarwick machine headsstring spacing 19 mm / 0.75"distance E to G string 57 mm / 2.24"Warwick S-Security LocksWenge bridge with bone saddle and slotted bridge pinschrome hardwareWarwick Red Strings Acoustic Bass String Set, Bronze, .045-.105, Medium Scale (35200 MS 4 045/105")Natural Transparent Satin finishincl.
