About this listing
Dial-in classic Marshall tones with the Plexi-Drive. A bass boost emulates the tone of a screaming 4x12" cab, while a pre-gain boost cranks your tone to 10.Dynamic British Plexi Tone in One PedalWampler has taken their popular Plexi-Drive Standard and added a few updates. The result is the Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe effects pedal. This pedal features a plexi drive circuit on the left side and a midrange boost circuit on the right. Active three-band EQ knobs boost and cut your bass, middle, and treble ranges with precision, and bass boost and bright boost switches add even more low or high end when you need it. This vibrant effects pedal is hand-built and features true-bypass circuitry.Vintage British Tone to BootWampler has taken a whole host of popular sounds and forged them into a compact overdrive effects pedal. Anything from that unmistakable '70s classic rock sound, to country rock, late-'90s pop rock, pop punk, modern country, or even a slick bluesy Hendrix-styled output is right at your fingertips. Take the time to get to know your Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe pedal to hear the array of tones your axe can achieve.Shaping Your OutputThe "Pre Gain" switch on the bottom right of the Plexi-Drive Deluxe fires up a particular flavor of midrange punch, and features its own gain level control. On the left, you have a "Post Gain" switch which engages the plexi drive circuit. On this circuit, you have a level control as well as a post-gain dial. An active three-band EQ control layout, as opposed to a passive system, provides your signal with more accurate frequency manipulation when adding or cutting your bass, middle, or treble.Hand-Built True-Bypass CircuitryNothing helps a signal purr its best more than a piece of gear made with love. Your Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe effects pedal is hand-built using choice film capacitors and resistors to give your output powerful color. True bypass circuitry also keeps the original character of your signal intact and unadulterated as it makes it way from your guitar to your amplifier even when this pedal is disengaged.Features:- Overdrive pedal modeled after classic Marshall amps- Stacked with vintage British tone- One 1/4" input- One 1/4" output- Three band active EQ control -- bass, middle, treble- Two circuits -- pre gain and post gain- Bass boost switch imitates low-end thump of a 4x12" cabinet- Bright boost for some sparkle- Pre gain and post gain controls- Master level control- True bypass circuitry- Hand built using high-grade film capacitors and resistors- Battery connection and 9 V power jack - Power draw: 22mA- EQ: 3-band active EQ: Bass, middle and treble.- Dimensions: 3.5 x 4.5 x 1.5" in size (88.9 x 114.3 x 38.1mm) - height excludes knobs and switchesWeight, Dimensions, and Manufacturer Part NumbersShipping Weight: 1 lbsShipping Dimensions: 7 x 5 x 3 inManufacturer Part Number (MPN): 3516zZounds is an authorized dealer of Wampler products.
