Overview

Released in 2016, the Walrus Audio Julia is a chorus and vibrato pedal named after a mysterious sound emanating from the ocean not unlike the famed Bloop. Julia draws its inspiration from the dark waters of its namesake, offering deep, analog chorus and vibrato shapeable by a myriad of controls. Select LFO wave shapes or use the Julia's Lag control, which changes the delay time on the LFO modulation. Rate and depth are familiar knobs on the Julia, while its final control, labeled "d-c-v," is a wet/dry knob that ranges from dry to chorus to a full-on vibrato.

I honestly have wanted this since I saw the demo on Knobs' YouTube channel. It's everything you want in a chorus and more. Become one with the waves. Just get it, really.

The best chorus I've ever used. The vibrato is good, doing a 60s psychedelic garage rock thing with a hint of surf and this does it all without sucking the tone out of my rig

Good pedal, I knew more or less what I was getting based on several YouTube demos I watched. This is a fairly common pedal and I was happy with it right out of the box, pretty easy to dial in a few choice sounds. Like most pedals, less is more unless you're into making the neighbourhood dogs howl. T…

If you've made it this far, you already know this pedal is incredible. 10 minutes into playing with this thing, I was feeling seasick. That's how you know it's good.

Great sounding pedal. Super intuitive and versatile chorus. Love it for lush detuned and doubled chords or retro 80s style picking. Sounds amazing on rhodes and Juno too!
