I am the original owner. I purchased the Vox ToneLab Ex brand new from Guitar Center in 2011. I purchased this unit to use in church and it served me well. It has been kept in a smoke free, humidity and temperature controlled environment. I took very good care of it. Vox was the only company I knew at the time that actually combined tube (12ax7) technology with digital amp modeling, which to my ears produced a certain tone that seemed more "organic sounding" compared to the competition at that time. It is such a shame that Vox did not continue to progress in that direction. When I purchased the Vox ToneLab Ex I did not care for the factory installed presets so I programmed presets that in my opinion sound really good. I was going to do a factory reset to the default presets, which the instructions to do so are included in the manual, but decided not to because the purchaser of this unit might actual like the presets I programmed.
